Latest Update on Court Case Against Navin Raheja Led Raheja Developers:
On November 05, 2014, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission allowed the case of 43 persons to proceed. The issues are concerning the non-provision of common amenities and facilities like road, water supply, electricity, sewerage, car parking, club house, swimming pool, school, shopping complex etc. The next hearing is scheduled for December 12, 2014.
But, the commission refused to take up the issue of the delay compensation penalty for the Rahejas not giving possession in 36 months as per the Builder Buyer Agreement. The buyers Association is exploring options of how to appeal this observation by the National Consumer Commission.

Hundreds of cases are being filed by buyers against Navin Rahea and Raheja builders alleging cheating, fraud, mis-selling, deficiency of services etc .. Since the above article was published, over 150 more buyers have sued Rahejas in the National Consumer Commission.

    It seems that the Chairman of NAREDCO Mr Navin Raheja is following on the footsteps of the past Senior Vice President of NAREDCO Mr Sunil Dahiya.     Since the Raheja Developers have provided sub-standard quality material and the construction is already 3 years behind schedule, we are trying to get together and form an association to get our compensation.
